Father’s Day Flop

Calling all dads for our inaugural Father’s Day Flop Contest! Think you have what it takes to make the biggest splash? Show off your one-of-a-kind flop on Sunday, June 15. Our official Adventureland judges and a DJ are sure to make this a Sunday Funday to remember. Plus, the top three dads will win some amazing prizes. Storm the Park 5k

The Altoona Running Club will be hosting the second annual Storm the Park 5k on Saturday, June 28. A portion of the proceeds from the run will be donated to the Shriners Children’s Za-Ga-Zig in Altoona. Register now to be a part of this fun and exciting event!

In partnership with Fred Rogers Productions, Adventureland is pleased to present a celebration of everyone’s favorite neighbor, Fred Rogers. You’re invited each weekend in August to meet and greet with special characters from shows inspired by Fred Rogers, Donkey Hodie, Alma’s Way and Daniel Tiger’s Neighborhood. It’s a fun, one-of-a-kind experience that your family will be sure to remember.

Drones Over Adventureland
Nightly August 15 through 17
We’re lighting up the night sky Friday, August 15, Saturday, August 16 and Sunday, August 17. The massive 3D drone show will incorporate 300 drones and will include iconic park images representing the Home of Iowa’s Best Thrills as Iowa’s largest drone show takes the skies. Grab a spot on the Boulevard for the best view. Shows will start shortly after 9pm.
Oktoberfest - 21+ Event
